On April 9 we had Mason's First Heavenly Birthday Party. Our family and a few friends were invited over for some food and cake. It wasn't until after the party that I really got choked up as the realization set in that this date I dreaded for the past year was over.
It was a nice get together though and I showed everyone the scrapbook I worked so diligently on to get ready for the party. We also bought a memory box for Mason from Things Remembered, it was really special. I decorated the top of the box with Mason's pictures. I wish I could somehow post the scrapbook for everyone to see, b/c I really liked the way it turned out!
